Jerry Ray Keenan, 67, of Hooker, Oklahoma passed away August 9, 2021, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

Jerry was born November 13, 1953, in Guymon, Oklahoma, the son of Paul and Lorene Wilson Keenan. He grew up and attended school in Guymon, Oklahoma graduating with the Class of 1972.

He lived for a time in Texhoma, Oklahoma. He worked as a cowboy doing ranch work. He began his career learning welding from Leon Lothman and then worked for 30 years as a welder at his business Keenan Welding. He owned and operated Highwater Nursery in Guymon, Oklahoma.

Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, horticulture, and rode motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife Susie Keenan of the home; two sons, Dustin and Kimberly Keenan of Guymon, Oklahoma, Cody and Carol Keenan of Pryor, Oklahoma; three daughters, Jennifer and Craig Ellison of Greenbrier, Tennessee, Paula and Jeffery Wagner of Canadian, Texas, Sarah and Joshua Page of Guymon, Oklahoma; son in law, Tony Dewayne Lovell, longtime friend, Ritchie and Jeri Hamilton; twelve grandchildren, Kali, Kalia, Brooks, Nathan, Kamron, Toni, Brooklyn, Ryleigh, Katelyn, Rawlin, Jacen, and Jentry.

Preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Amanda “Bomber” Mosberg, niece, Harley Michele Walker, nephew, K.L. Rice, one sister, Karen Rice, two brothers, Max Keenan and Larry Keenan.

Visitation will be at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Oklahoma on Thursday, August 12, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Memorial services will be at the First Baptist Church in Hooker, Oklahoma on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike McReynolds officiating.
