Jerrene Hoskinson

Jerrene Hoskinson, 71, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019, Satanta Long Term Care Unit, Satanta, KS.

She was born to Dallas George and Sarah Luella (Walters) Nelson on October 22, 1947, Nicut, OK.

Jerrene married Calvin L. Hoskinson on May 18, 1972, Satanta, KS. To this union were Nelson and Michael.

Jerrene grew up in Nicut, OK and later moved to Satanta. Jerrene loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She would do anything for her family and friends. Her hobbies were gardening, crocheting and quilting. She was a member of The First Church of Satanta. She was a devoted Christian and loved her church.

Jerrene survived by one son, Mike Hoskinson and wife Whitney, Satanta, KS.; two granddaughters, Katie Nuss and husband Mike, Sweetwater, TX., Morgan Hoskinson, Satanta, KS.; a grandson, Braden Hoskinson, Satanta, KS; two brothers, James Nelson and wife Ann, Akins, OK., Melvin Nelson and wife Sherry, Cherry Tree, OK.; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Calvin; son, Nelson Hoskinson, two brothers, Bill Nelson and Dallas Nelson, four sisters, Ailene Jones, Maxine Brown, Nina Brown, Virgina Aronson and Romana Sims.

A memorial has been established for The First Church. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 747, Satanta, KS 67951.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 10, 2019, 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. and Wednesday, September 11, 2019, 10 A.M. to 8 P.M., Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton, KS.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 2 P.M. at The First Church, Satanta, KS and burial will follow at Dudley Township Cemetery, Satant
