Jeffrey Dale “Jeff” Hill, 59-year-old Hooker, Oklahoma resident and longtime Hugoton, Kansas resident passed away, Monday, December 6, 2021, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.
Jeffrey Dale Hill was born July 7, 1962, in Guymon, Oklahoma to Norman Dale and Anna Marion (Davis) Hill. Jeff attended the Hooker Public School system graduating with the class of 1980. He went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from Texas A&M in 1987.
Jeff was united in marriage to Tonya Bates on April 25, 1982, at the Gospel of Grace Church in Hooker, Oklahoma. To this union they were blessed with three children: Brittany, Cody and Brooke. Jeff and Tonya made their home in Hugoton, Kansas for 32 years.
He was a self-employed Crop consultant.
Jeff enjoyed all kinds of hobbies but spending time with family especially his grandchildren is what brought him the most joy.
He was preceded in death by brothers in law: Scott Hecox and Tim Buschman, stepfather: Doug Duncan, paternal grandparents: Alex and Nellie Hill and maternal grandparents Clement “PaPa Chief” and Juanita Davis.
Left behind to share his legacy is his wife Tonya of the home; two daughters: Brittany and husband Brandon Mason of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Brooke and husband Jeremy Campbell of Perryton, Texas; one son: Cody and wife Morgan Hill of Hugoton, Kansas, his parents: Marion Sarchet and husband Jim of Hooker and father Dale Hill and Pat Brown, one sister: Elizabeth Hecox of New Castle, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren: Peyton Mason, Paxton Mason, Bryton Mason, Londyn Campbell, Kamdyn Campbell, Titus Hill, Teigan Hill and Talynn Hill, three nephews: Matthew Hecox, Luke Hecox and Marcus Hecox. Jeff is also survived by several other family members and a host of friends.
Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 10, 2021, at the Gospel of Grace Church in Hooker Oklahoma with Pastor Murrell Howell and Pastor Chris McFarland officiating. Interment will follow in the Hooker Cemetery.
