Jeanette Lynn (Small) Crump

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Jeanette Lynn (Small) Crump, 54, who left this world on Monday, October 2, 2023. Born in North Platte, Nebraska, on February 19, 1969, to Sally Christine (Van Hoosier) and Larry Winston Small, Jeanette had vibrant personality that was matched only by her loving heart.

Jeanette had a unique ability to find joy in the simplest of things and shared that joy with everyone around her. She enjoyed crafting and making things for her family and friends. Jeanette was also known to take the microphone and sing at the top of her lungs when it was her turn at karaoke.

Jeanette was a strong, independent woman who lived her life on her own terms from the moment she was born until her last day. Jeanette’s love for her family was unwavering; she was a loving wife to her husband, Johnnie Crump, with whom she shared several decades of life’s ups and downs, always with grace and resilience. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she has joined Johnnie in eternity.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher Small of Hutchinson, KS, and Anthony Crump of Garden City, KS; grandchildren, Ayden Small, Adeline Blake, and Ava Small; father, Larry Small of Satanta, KS; and siblings, Larry Small, Jr. of Billings, MT, Charlotte Marks and husband Larry of Culbertson, NE, and Daniel Small and wife Jody of Satanta, KS.

There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
