Jeanell Marie Kulow

Jeanell Marie Kulow, 79, of Liberal, passed away on October 14, 2021 in
Liberal, KS.
She was born January 8, 1942 to Joseph and Alma (Jones) Creason in
Beaver, Ok. She attended school in Liberal, graduating from Liberal High
School in 1960. In addition to retiring from working as a Mail Handler
at the Post Office for twenty-five years, she also owned and operated
the City Cab Company for many years, was an over the road owner operator
for almost ten years and made her life’s work to always keep learning.
She was a member of Believers Ministry. She loved sharing Jesus with
anyone who would listen, especially while drinking coffee in McDonalds.
She was a gifted artist and writer, able to turn ordinary occurrences
into intriguing anecdotes. A prolific writer of prose and poetry, she
had been selected for publishing in several national, regional and local
anthologies and had won multiple writing awards. She was a lover of
baseball and the St Louis Cardinals. She also collected stamps, coins
and sports memorabilia as life-long hobbies.
Jeanell is survived by Three Daughters, Catherine Collins and husband
Gary of Liberal, KS, Tammy Parker and husband Joe of Columbus, GA, and
Sherri Munoz of Columbus, GA; Ten Grandchildren and Three Great
Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Joseph H Creason; Mother, Alma
M Creason; Brother, Joseph H Creason II; Son, Byron D Kirk; Two
Granddaughters, Amanda Beth Graves, and Victoria Delores Munoz.
In lieu of flowers per the family’s request, friends are encouraged to
consider making a memorial donation to The Friends of Israel Gospel
Ministry in care of Miller Mortuary, PO Box 826 Liberal, KS 67905-0826.
