Janice Ann Gurley, 75, of Hooker, Oklahoma passed away at her home November 23, 2018.

Janice was born February 23, 193 in Waukomis, Oklahoma, the daughter of Albert Emil and Ida Mary Streit Milacek. At the age of five she moved to Kingfisher, Oklahoma where she attended school, graduating from Kingfisher High School the Class of 1961.

After graduation she went to Beauty School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and worked for numerous hair salons.

In 1976 she moved to Guymon, Oklahoma and work in food service for the Guymon Public Schools and at her retirement was the manager.

In 1991 Hooker became her home until her death.

Survivors include her two daughters, Valinda Grayson and her husband Brad of Guymon, Oklahoma, Melissa Russell of Honolulu, Hawaii, three grandchildren, Bradley Grayson and his wife Amanda of Noble, Oklahoma, Isabella Russell of Hooker, Oklahoma and Olivia Russell of Norman, Oklahoma; and one great granddaughter, Violet Katheryn Grayson.

The family will greet friends at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in hooker, Oklahoma on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Kingfisher Cemetery in Kingfisher, Oklahoma.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be left at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Oklahoma 73945.
