Jan Foster

Jan Foster, 67, of Turpin, OK passed away on Saturday December 12, 2020 at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS.

She was born on October 25, 1953 to James and Dorothy (Franz) Swan at Liberal, KS.

On August 4, 1973 she married Stan Foster at the Turpin Mennonite Church near Turpin, OK.

She attended school in Turpin, OK and graduated from Liberal High School; class of 1971. Jan was also a graduate of OPSU where she received her Bachelor Degree in Education. She worked as an Elementary Teacher for Turpin Schools for over 30 years before retiring in 2014. Jan had also been attending the Turpin Women’s Bible Study. She enjoyed being with her family and was loved by many! Jan was a member of Turpin United Methodist Church where she served as head of the Children’s Sunday School.

Jan is survived by her loving husband Stan, Daughter, Jacey Wellendorf and husband Dustin of Turpin, OK; son, Jeremy Foster of Turpin, OK; Sister, Annette Massoni and husband Mark of Turpin, OK; Several Nieces and Nephews

She was preceded in death by her Parents and Sister, Susan Swan.

Memorial Services will be 10:30 am Friday, December 18, 2020, at the Turpin United Methodist Church, with Pastor Reece Player, officiating. The services will be Live Streamed online through the Miller Mortuary Face Book page.
