Jamey Jay Cobb, 58, of Liberal, passed away on Monday September 20, 2021
near Liberal, KS due to a motor vehicle accident.
He was born on May 5, 1963 to Garvin and Karen (Fox) Cobb at Liberal,
KS.
He was a graduate of Southwestern Heights High School; class of 1981.
On May 12, 1988 he married Elizabeth “Betty” Naab at Liberal, KS.
Jamey grew up in Plains, KS and enjoyed playing sports while in school.
Jamey worked as a Truck Driver for the Seward Co Bridge Road Dept. He
had previously worked with CNG and the Tractor Supply Company. Jamey
enjoyed fishing, washing & detailing his truck weekly, and loved
spending time with his children and grandson. He was also a great cook
and enjoyed smoking ribs on his smoker.
Jamey is survived by his loving wife Betty, Son, Trenten James Cobb and
girlfriend Tiffany Bowen of Liberal, KS; Daughter, Kaleigh Danielle Cobb
and husband Roy Wolf Chapman, Grandson, Tidus Jay Cobb, Sister, Ginger
Borth and husband John of Meade, KS, Four Aunts, Cheryl Carson of
Liberal, KS, Vicki Fisher of Meade, KS, Myra Christenson of Henderson,
MO, and Judy Hendricks; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no public viewing or visitation.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, 2:00 pm at
the First Christian Church, with Pastor Rex Petty officiating.
Burial will take place in the Plains Cemetery.
The family suggests Memorials to the American Kidney Foundation in care
of Miller Mortuary PO Box 826 Liberal, KS 67905-0826.
