James “Jim” A. Carlile, age 73, died Thursday, September 23, 2021, at his home in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born September 23, 1948, the son of Bernard Carlile and Betty Segar in Liberal, Kansas.

Jim graduated Liberal High School in 1966.

He served in Vietnam in the Navy.

On September 17, 1989, Jim married Theresa F. Waybright.

Jim worked for Carlile Water Well, Carlile Asphalt, J&R Sand, and was also a Computer Programmer. Jim was a farmer and rancher. He enjoyed participating in Cutting Horse Competitions.

Daughter, Kaitlin N. Carlile of Overland Park, Kansas
