Jacqueline Kay “Jackie” Brown, 53, formerly of Liberal, KS, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Rocky Mountain Care Home in Logan, UT.
She was born on November 28, 1967 to Tommie Lee and Mary Magdalene Brown in Liberal, KS.
Jackie was a graduate of Liberal High School; Class of 1986. She went on to graduate from Seward County Community College; Class of 1988. Jackie enjoyed cooking for her boys, collecting cookbooks, scrapbooking, reading, and caring for all stray dogs that passed her way. Her most cherished role was being a mother to her two sons. Jackie will be fondly remembered as a kind loving soul with a cheerful smile and a genuine love for others. She was beloved by her family and friends, as well as members of her church community. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Liberal, KS and North Logan, UT.
Jackie is survived by her two Sons, Christopher Thomas Denten and wife, Yesenia, of Oklahoma City, OK; and Bradley LaRae Denten, of Manhattan, KS; Sister, Pauline Sumner and husband, Larry, of Liberal, KS; and
Brother, Mark Brown, of Ardmore, OK, and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place; a Register Book will be available to sign at Miller Mortuary.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021,at 11:00 am, at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with Bishop John Justice, officiating. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
