This is to be a free Obituary, thank you, Kyle

Jackie Herald Clutter, 61, of Hooker, Oklahoma passed away September 7, 2011 at her home.

Jackie was born May 24, 1950 in Sacramento, California. As a toddler she was brought to the Hooker-Tyrone area to live with her grandmother, Ella Booth Miller and her aunts. She attended school in Tyrone, Oklahoma. She spent one year of her high school living with Leo and Sue Steinle who later in her life adopted her. She graduated from Hooker High School with the Class of 1968.

Jackie was married to Doyle Herald, in August of 1967 and they lived in Hooker and started their family. During this time Jackie adopted many different pets and opened her home to many who needed help.

On May 22, 1010 she was united in marriage to Dennis Clutter. He passed away May 22, 2010.

Jackie was a member of the Church of Christ in Hooker, Oklahoma; Beta Sigma Phi; Booster Club and help with cheerleading. She was a FFA sponsor and loved gardening, especially her back yard pond. She was fascinated with family genealogy and spent time researching city records and family cemeteries.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Steinle and grandmother, Ella Booth Miller.

Survivors include her mother, Sue Steinle of Hooker, Oklahoma; son, Jeff Herald and wife, Kathy of Hooker, Oklahoma; daughter, Sheree Dobbins and her late husband Paul of Amarillo, Texas; seven grandchildren, Brent, Peyton, Grace, Trevor, Kesleigh, Ema and Roy, along with many cousins that she considered her brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Hooker Church of Christ with Matt Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Hooker Cemetery directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. in Hooker, Oklahoma.

Memorials are suggested to the Hooker Cemetery Fund and may be left at the Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Oklahoma, 73945.
