Isah Zear Baker

Isah Zear Baker 83, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at his residence in
Liberal, KS.
He was born Sept. 18, 1928 in Tillar, Ark the son of Fred Sylvester and
Irene (Graham) Baker.
He was a farmer in Tillar, Ark moving to Liberal in 1964 to help build
National Beef Packing Plant. After the completion of National Beef he
started working at National Beef in the Plant.
He also has worked for Otto Mehl and Trade Winds before becoming self
employed as a Cement Contractor.
He was a member of the New Community Missionary Baptist Church.
On April 21, 1947 he married Laura Lee King in Tillar, Ark. She survives.

Preceded in death by Parents, 2 Sons James Lamar Franklin, Isiah Baker Jr.
1 Daughter Viola Baker, 1 Brothers James Baker and 3 Sisters Kathy
Callaway, Maple Brooks and Essie Mae Baker.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm Friday at First Southern Baptist
Church with Rev. Steven Bailem officiating. Burial will be held in
Liberal Cemetery.
Visitation time will be 9am to 8pm Thursday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
