Irene L. Pepper

Irene L. Pepper, age 73, died Monday, April 6, 2015 at her residence in Liberal, KS.
She was born July 25, 1941 in Liberal, KS, the daughter of Adam Jake and Caroline Mary (Dreitz) Roth.
She was a lifelong resident of Liberal, KS, and attended Liberal schools and graduated from Liberal High School in 1959. She began her working career while in high school at Peoples Bank. She later switched to the medical field as a receptionist until her retirement in1992. She enjoyed baking for her family and friends on holidays, bicycling, taking long walks and fishing with her husband Cliff.
On January 2, 1970, she married Clifford L. “Cliff” Pepper at Liberal, KS. He survives.
Other survivors include one sister Esther Kinney of Oklahoma City, OK and one niece and one nephew.
Also her faithful little companion a Miniature Schnauzer “Annie”. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no viewing or a memorial service. A private family inurnment will be held in Liberal Cemetery at a later date.
