Imogene Ruth Johnson

Imogene Ruth Johnson, 92, of Amarillo, TX passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at her son’s home in Turpin, OK.

She was born on July 17, 1930, to Oscar and Sadie (Thomas) Holbert at Beggs, OK.

On August 5,1963, she married Jack Johnson in Amarillo, TX; he preceded her in death on May 18, 1980.

Imogene was a self employed Housekeeper. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, nature, and traveling. Imogene’s greatest joy was being with her family. She was a member of the Quail Creek Church of Amarillo, TX where she was active within the church and their events.

Imogene is survived by her Son, Jack P. Johnson, Jr. and wife Andrea of Turpin, OK; Two Daughters, Jackie S. Johnson Brice and husband Johnny Carr of Lubbock, TX, Felicia Phillips and husband Alfred of Amarillo, TX; 12 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, Four Great Great Grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her Parents, Two Daughters, Sheril Timmons and Linda Norris; One Great Grandson, Anthony D. Jackson, Jr.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miller Mortuary.
