Howard Ray Cochran, 79, of Liberal, passed away on December 8, 2021 in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born on April 11, 1942 to Leonard T Cochran, Sr. and Cecil Waldorf in Wichita, KS.

On August 16, 1969 he married Neta Winkler in Dodge City, KS. Howard and Neta lived in Liberal, Kansas.

Howard worked as a jack of all trades before retiring in 2002 from Seward County Landfill. He enjoyed car racing, fishing, collecting coins, and watching wrestling.

Howard is survived by his loving spouse of 52 years Neta Cochran, Two Sons, Leonard Ray Cochran and wife Brandee of Liberal, KS, Mickey Cochran and wife Crystal of Liberal, KS; Three Granddaughters, Charlee Cochran, Maddie Norton, Macey Cochran; and Brother Dale Cochran of Rose Hill, KS.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Leonard T Cochran, Sr. and Cecil Waldorf; Brothers, Leonard T Cochran Jr. and Bobby Cochran; Sisters, Ianis Merty and Beverly Byerly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
