Hobson Elden Agee

Hobson Elden Agee, age 90, died early Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Lone Tree Retirement Center in Meade, KS.
Elden was born May 15, 1923 at Palacios, TX, the son of Hobson and Margareeta (Green) Agee.
Elden was a Navy veteran serving on the USS Talbot 114 Destroyer in the Pacific Theater during WWII. After serving his country he spent a major part of his life in the farming industry. In later years he formed his own business, Agee Construction, where he worked from 1973 until his retirement in 1997. He loved carpentry, gardening and fishing in Colorado!
He married Mildred Elizabeth Henley on July 20, 1944 in Covington, OK. She preceded him in death on Feb. 20, 1995. They were long time residents of Perryton, TX and Liberal, KS.
He then married Yvonnie Crittenden November 20, 1998 at Plains, KS. She Survives.
His other survivors include 4 Sons – Wayne Agee and wife Becca of Edmond, OK; Bob Agee and wife Cindy of Oklahoma City, OK; Jack Agee of Liberal, KS; Frank Agee and wife Mendy of Edmond, OK. 1 Daughter – Jean "Sissy" Flores of Edmond, OK. 1 Brother – Maynard Agee and wife Mildred of Friona, TX; 2 Sisters – Betty Wetsel and husband Eldon of Midland, TX, Ann Ford of Floydada, TX. 10 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
In addition to his parents and his first wife Mildred, he was also preceded in death by 1 Sister: JoAnn Martin.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 17th and 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM Wednesday, December 18th at Miller Mortuary.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 18th at the Miller Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Rex Petty Officiating. Burial will follow at the Liberal City Cemetery.
