Hermiona “ Mina” Sherretts, 88, died Saturday, April 21, 2018, at her residence in Liberal.
She was born on April 1, 1930, in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Paul and Jennie (Martin) Beckwith.
She graduated from Topeka High School in 1948. She worked as a waitress, a clerk at Woolworth and as an abstract specialist at the American Title & Abstract.
On August 18, 1951 she married Floyd J. Sherretts in Van Buren, AR. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2016.
She liked to sew, crochet, and dancing. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Busy Bees Quilting Guild. She loved to travel, genealogy, and her family and her grandkids and great grandchildren.

4 great grandchildren
Robert Gamble Jr, Jordan Gamble, Anthony Flannery and Dakota Flannery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Her husband, 4 brothers; Dexter, Larry, Jim and Brian Beckwith, and 2 sisters; Katherine Fosdick and Pauline Beckwith.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 2, at the Faith Tabernacle Church with Pastor Rex Petty presiding.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 1 at the Brenneman Funeral Home from 9 am to 8pm. The family will be present to greet friends from 5 to 8pm.
A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
