Helen Yvonnie (Lawson) Crittenden (Agee), age 88, daughter of Joseph and LouSindy Lawson, was born April 29, 1929, at Portia, Arkansas. She passed away Monday, November 27, 2017, in Meade, Kansas.
She was united in marriage to Charles Crittenden on Marcy 20, 1948. Charles passed away on January 18, 1984. On November 14, 1988, she married Eldon Agee who died December 18, 2013.
Yvonnie was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved to fish and play dominos with friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Woodrow, Oscar, and Theodore Lawson, and sisters, Inez Moore and Augusta Hood, and one nephew K.D. Moore.
She is survived by daughters, Mary Katherine Smith and husband Spencer of Kiowa, Kansas, Pat Davidson and husband Jim of Fritch, Texas, and a son, Wayne Crittenden of Plains; five grandchildren, Justice Smith of Ramstein, Germany, Charity and Mark Chan of Edmond, Oklahoma, Shane and Crystal Hammerschmidt of LaPort, Indiana, Maranda and James Grimes of Fritch, Texas, and Karla Crittenden of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a sister Auvern Whaley and niece Janet and John Hollis of Bartlett, Tennessee, fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2017, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Interment will follow in the Plains Cemetery, Plains, Kansas.
The family would welcome memorials to the Carpenter Place in care of the funeral home.
