Helen Maxine Hamilton

Helen Maxine Hamilton, 86, died Wednesday, October 2, 2014 at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton, KS.
She was born November 17, 1927 in Rolla, KS. The daughter of Clarence and Elva (McGee) Crawford.
She graduated from Rolla High School and had been a longtime resident of the Hugoton area.
She was employed as secretary by the Stevens County Treasures office and also worked for the Hugoton Hermes and Tri-State Implement.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Hugoton and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
She enjoyed camping, fishing and love for music but her greatest joy was being surrounded by friends and family.
On November 15, 1945 she married Robert Wayne Hamilton in Newton, KS. He died July 23, 2014.

1 Sister Ruby Arnold Sublette, KS
Brother-in-law Manny Hamilton Pueblo West, CO.
Sister-in-law Hazel Coonts Denver, CO.
3 Grandchildren Jayci Stratton, Joshua Hamilton, Michelle Paulson
6 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by Parents and Brother Eugene Crawford
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, Oct. 4th, at the First Christian Church in Hugoton, KS with Frankie Thomas presiding. Burial will take place in Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton, KS.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
