Hazel Marie Cross

OWASSO, OKLAHOMA – Hazel Marie Cross, age 84, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 26, 2016, at the Brookdale Senior Living Center, Owasso, Oklahoma.

She was born August 24, 1931, at Plains, Kansas, the daughter of Frank and Anna Koehn. A longtime resident of Wichita, Kansas, she was a second grade school teacher. While in college, she was served as the president of the sorority club. She enjoyed reading and loved children.

On June 21, 1967, she married Samuel Cross in Texas. He precedes her in death.

Hazel had many great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews that meant the world to her.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; an infant brother, Laverne Koehn; a sister, Virgie Ann Koehn.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 1, 2016, at the Discovery Fellowship Church, Collinsville, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the Plains Cemetery, Plains, Kansas.
