Gunnar Scott Harris

He was born September 7, 1994, at Amarillo, Texas, the son of Karl and Andria (Robertson) Harris. As a young boy he attended the Meade school system, graduating from Meade High School in 2013. He later attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Oklahoma, receiving his bachelor of science degree. A longtime resident of Meade, he was a Veterinary Technician at Pavlov’s Animal Hospital.
He had attended the Lutheran Youth Fellowship (LYF), was a member of the Meade High School 2010 and 2012 State Champion Football Team. He enjoyed Atlanta Falcon football, MMA, his cats, caring for animals, county dancing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents of Meade; a sister McKinzie Harris of Meade; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Helene Harris of Rockport, Texas, and Kay Harris of Amarillo, Texas; maternal grandmother, Ann Robertson of Meade; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Michael Lynn Harris in 1998; and his maternal grandfather, Joe Robertson.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 23 2017, at St. John Lutheran Church, Meade. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will follow in the Graceland Cemetery, Meade, following the services.
The family would welcome memorials to the Pets Miracle Network in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
