Guadalupe Quintero Monarrez

Guadalupe Quintero Monarrez, age 61, died Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

He was born on September 26,1962, the son of Eligio Quintero and Matilde Monarrez in Valle De Topia Los Pinos, Durango, Mexico.

Guadalupe was united in marriage to Norma Beltran Enriquez on May 2, 2000, in Liberal, Kansas. He was the wonderful father of one son, Jesus Quintero and one daughter, Brianna Saldana. Guadalupe worked for National Beef for many years. He was much loved and will be missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Norma Quintero of Liberal, Kansas, son, Jesus Quintero of Liberal, Kansas, daughter, Brianna Saldana, brothers, Valentin Quintero, Claudio Quintero, Candelario Quintero, Margarito Quintero, and Carlos Carmona Quintero, sisters, Juana Quintero, Trinidad Quintero, Vicky Quintero, and Paulina Quintero, and two grandchildren, Aaron Echevarria, and Nadia Echevarria.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eligio Quintero and Matilde Monarrez.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday, October 13, 2023, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM, Friday, October 13, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 14, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with Reverend Charles Seiwert celebrating.

Burial to take place in Durango Mexico.
