Guadalupe G. Rodriguez

Guadalupe G. Rodriguez, age 77, of Ulysses, Kansas, died Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Kansas Medical Center in Andover, Kansas. He was born February 25, 1943, in Texas, the son of Jose and Cruz (Garza) Rodriguez.

Guadalupe grew up in Texas. On November 23, 2000, he married Rosa Marquez in Angleton, Texas. Guadalupe worked for Grant County Feeders for over 25 years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, and riding motorcycles. Guadalupe was a member of Ulysses Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Guadalupe is survived by his wife, Rosa; son, Ernest Rodriguez of Texas; daughter, Peggy Sue of Texas; step-sons, Daniel Rodriguez and Sergio Rodriguez both of Ulysses, and Epigmenio Rodriguez of Texas; step-daughters, Anna Rodriguez of Texas and Arminda Rodriguez of Oregon; brothers, Jose Rodriguez and Pedro Rodriguez; sister, Rafaela Rodriguez; and 15 grandchildren.

Guadalupe is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Ulysses, Kansas. Funeral service may also be viewed on Garnand Funeral Home Facebook Live. Visitation will be Saturday, November 21, 2020, from 10:00 AM until service time at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W.
