Gordon R. Applebee, 48, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at his home in Liberal, Kansas.
He was born January 10, 1970 in Miami, Florida.
Adopted shortly after by Clarence R. Applebee and Connie Faye Airstrup
Gordon Graduated Tyrone High School in 1988.
Gordon and Jayme Ewalt were united in marriage November 9, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Gordon attended Seward County Community College and Fort Hays State University graduating with an Associate’s degree in Radiology Technology in 1998.
He worked for Southwest Medical Center for 13 years.
Gordon then purchased Rafter J. Liquor Store in 2009.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Connie F. Applebee.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel. Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Prater officiating.

There will be a private family burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Gordons name to St. Catherine’s Hospice in care of Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd St. Liberal, Kansas 67901.
