Glennis A. Koehn, age 85, of Montezuma, Kansas, died Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Bethel Home in Montezuma. She was born December 6, 1936, in Montezuma the daughter of William and Francis (Koehn) Koehn.
Glennis received her education from the Copeland school system. She married Glenn Koehn on March 1, 1959, in Montezuma. They farmed in Grant County for 60 years before retiring to Arizona. Glen and Glennis moved back to Montezuma and settled in at Bethel Home.
Glennis is survived by her husband, Glenn of Montezuma; children, Scott Koehn and wife Kendra of Wilcox, Arizona, Teresa Penner and husband Eldon of Louise, Texas, Courtney Koehn and wife Brenda of Buhl, Idaho, Kyle Koehn and wife Geneva of Lakin, Kansas, Douglas Koehn and wife Jana of Ulysses, Kansas, and Barbara Koehn and husband Chad of Cochise, Arizona; brothers, Merle Koehn and wife Delores of Montezuma, Kansas, Jerry Koehn and wife Jane of Montezuma, Kansas, and Evan Koehn and wife Mary of Scotia, Nebraska; sisters, Dixie Koehn, Virginia Koehn and husband Keith, and Merriann Schmidt and husband Mervin all of Montezuma, Kansas; 24 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren.
Glennis is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Devern Koehn and his wife Lucille.
Funeral service will be Monday, June 27, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Grant Mennonite Church in rural Grant County with Minister Denton Koehn, Minister Stuart Jantzen, and Minister Dan Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow at Grant Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses, Kansas.
