George A. Carlile, 80, of Woods, KS died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Southwest Medical Center.
He was born November 10, 1932 at Beaver, OK, the son of Bud and Cora (Leatherman) Carlile.
He married Yvonne Campbell December 1, 1951 at Clayton, NM. She preceded George in death on August 3, 2005.
George graduate of Liberal High School class 1952. He was a Truck Driver and Warehouseman for Nash Finch for 32 years. George enjoyed Liberal BJ’s and his Grandchildren.
His survivors include 1 Son – Alan Carlile and wife Kim of Liberal, KS; 3 Daughters – Yvette Marie Franklin of Liberal, KS, Yolonda Lee Carlile of Topeka, KS, Tammy Hawk of Elkhart, KS. 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and 1 grandchild.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm -8:30 pm Wednesday and 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon Thursday at Miller Mortuary.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday at Faith Tabernacle with Pastor Rex Petty officiating. Burial will follow at the Liberal City Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the Faith Tabernacle Church or Liberal Bee Jays Baseball in care of Miller Mortuary.
