Gene Shuck

Gene Shuck, 75, started his new life on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Stevens County Hospital, Hugoton, Kansas.

He was the son of Sheldon (SR) and Ruby L. (Sides) Shuck, he was born on July 7, 1942 in Liberal, Kansas.

He and Jessie Perry were married on January 28, 1962 at Hugoton, Kansas. They made their home in Rural Seward County.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends .His grandchildren and great grandchildren gave him great joy and happiness. He enjoyed bribing them with gum. His family and friends filled him with joy when they went skiing and snowmobiling. He also enjoyed tinkering with old pickups.

Survivors include his wife Jessie Perry, Liberal KS; Sons, Troy Shuck and wife Shawnna, Liberal, Kansas; Clifford Shuck and wife Paula, Hugoton, Kansas; Richy Shuck and wife Nora, Hugoton, Kansas; Brother, Gordon Shuck and wife Shirley, Alberta, Canada; Sisters, Flossie Green of Corsicanna, Texas; Reta Evans and husband Dallas of Derby, Kansas; Ten grandchildren and Eleven Great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sheldon-S.R. and Ruby (Sides) Shuck. Sisters: Myrtle McCulley, Nettie Rogers, Edna Cunningham, Dorene Johnson, Velda Williams, and June Garner and brother Ervin Shuck

A memorial has been established for the “Heritage Christian Academy” or “Pheasant Heaven Charities”. Memorials may be mailed to Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236-Hugoton, Kansas 67951.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 @ 10:30 a.m.at Lone Star Friends Church and burial will be held following at the Lone Star Friends Cemetery in Hugoton, Kansas.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. And from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home. Hugoton, Ks
