Gary Vernon Brack, 70, of Tyrone, Oklahoma passed away May 26, 2020 at his home.
Gary was born March 2, 1950 in Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Vernon Benjamin and Georgeane Armistice Yost Brack. He grew up in Liberal, Kansas graduating from Liberal High School with the Class of 1968. He then attended Hutchinson Junior College in Hutchinson, Kansas studying musical theory.
Gary was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Preceding him in death are two sisters, Sherry Worthington and Linda Diane Crosby.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia Brack of Tyrone; two sons, Jeremy Smith of Andover, Kansas and Matthew Brack and his wife, Amy of Papillion, Nebraska; three daughters, Susanne McHenry of Canyon City, Colorado, Jennifer Hotella and husband Chris of Harrah, Oklahoma, Chelsea Gardner of Liberal, Kansas, a brother in law, Calvin Crosby of Liberal, Kansas; thirteen grandchildren.
His life was music, playing the drums and singing. He played with several local bands including J.S. and the Bachs, Clearcreek, and The Cooped Up Band. His musical ability also enabled him to meet and play with some known music legends. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Enjoy your Heavenly concert, Gary, until we join you. Then we’ll all sing together.
