Gail Walter

Gail Walter 60, passed away, Monday at Integris Baptist Medical Center
in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was born March 17, 1953 in La Junta, Colorado the daughter of Billy
C. and Melba (Jernigan) Burr. She graduated from high school in Wichita
Falls, Texas in 1971. She has been a resident of the Liberal area for
the past 35 years.

She had been employed at the Citizen State Bank, Golden Plains Credit
Union and the Sunflower Bank as a teller.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Beaver, OK, She was a
leader in Weight Watchers, enjoyed going to all types of Bible Studies,
and loved music. Mostly, she enjoyed being with her children and
grandchildren.

On Aug. 12, 1972 she married Robert “Bob” Walter in La Junta, Co. He
survives her.

Katy Taylor and husband Andy Artesia, NM

2 Sisters Karen Rogers and husband Kelly Lubbock, TX
Janet Nix and husband Clinton Abliene, TX

12 Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by 1 brother Jimmy Burr.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at the Turpin High
School Auditorium, Turpin, OK with Brian Boverie presiding.

Graveside service for close friends and family will be held at 9:30 am
Saturday at Liberal Cemetery.

Visitation time will be 9am to 8pm Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
