Frankie Lou Bromwell

Frankie Lou Bromwell, age 91, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021, at Stephenville, Texas.

She was born April 14, 1930, the daughter of Henry and Lottie (Orr) Ford.  As a young girl she attended school in Plains, graduating from Plains High School in 1948.

On October 22, 1948, she married Don Bromwell in rural Plains, Kansas.  After their marriage, the couple made their home in Plains before moving to Texas.  She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Oakdale United Methodist Church.  She was a fabulous cook, especially cinnamon rolls and pies, she enjoyed crocheting, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Don of Stephenville, Texas; a son Bruce Bromwell of Stephensville, Texas; a daughter Quincy Bailey of Welch, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at the Plains Cemetery, Plains.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary.  Interment will follow in the Plains Cemetery.

The family would welcome memorials to the Plains Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
