Floyd James Sherretts

Floyd James Sherretts, 91, died Tuesday, April 19th, 2016, at his home in Liberal, KS. He was born on November 26th, 1924, in Jackson County, KS. He was the son of George Roy Sherretts and Helen Rebecca (Vance) Sherretts. On August 18th, 1951, he married Hermiona Jane Beckwith in Van Buren, Arkansas. She survives.
Floyd worked at Northern Natural Gas as an operator for many years. He was very social and liked everyone. He enjoyed fishing with family and friends.

2 sisters
Leota Westbrook Atlanta, GA
Nola Ellis Topeka, KS
3 grandchildren; Kat Gamble and companion Jose Olivas; Sara Mitchell and Husband Casey; and Bobby Gamble
4 great-grandchildren; Robert Gamble Jr, Jordan Gamble, Anthony Flannery and Dakota Flannery
He was proceeded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, April 22nd, Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal, with Rev. Rex Petty presiding. Visitation will be Thursday, April 21st from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with the family present to greet friends from 6 to 8.
