Floyd Dean Johnson

Floyd Dean Johnson, 89, Tyrone, Oklahoma passed away March 11, 2022, at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, Kansas.

Dean was born March 19, 1932, in Waterloo, Illinois, the son of Zeph and Anita Coffee Johnson. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He married Mary Davis in 1957 and she died in 2009. Dean was united in marriage to Myrna Irene Hickox on September 14, 2013 in Liberal, Kansas.

Dean worked and retired as an inspector for McDonald Douglas Aircraft.

Those preceding in death are his parents, daughter in law, Christine Johnson, two brothers, Charlie Johnson and Gary Johnson, his sister, Patricia Morton.

Survivors include his wife, Irene of the home, two sons, William Michael Johnson of Peabody, Massachusetts and Dean Johnson and his wife, Sonia of Hooker, Oklahoma; his daughter, Diane Johnson of Hooker, Oklahoma; sister, Judy Chilcutt of Florida, seven grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Services will take place at a future. Arrangements by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Oklahoma.
