Florence Eileen Kitzmiller Davis Cockrum, age 86, of Owasso, Oklahoma and formerly of Ulysses and Johnson, Kansas died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at St. John Owasso in Owasso, Oklahoma. She was born February 19, 1928 in Wellington, Kansas, the daughter of Thomas Edward and Lillian Cecile (Pierpoint) Kitzmiller. Eileen moved to Two Buttes, Colorado when she was 2 years old and lived there until 1955. Eileen married Melvin Davis on February 23, 1946 in Ulysses, Kansas. She lived in Ulysses from 1955 until 1994. Eileen retired in 1994 from working in the office at Pioneer Electric. On June 17, 1994, she married Leroy Cockrum; and lived in Johnson until 2007. She moved to Owasso, Oklahoma in 2007 to be near family. Eileen was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Johnson and the Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by her son, Melvin Wayne Davis and wife Hazel of Oologah, Oklahoma; daughters, Roberta Katheryn Feldman of Pocatello, Idaho, Geneva Frances Zajic and husband Steve of Pleasanton, California; four grandchildren, Jim Davis and wife Shawnda, Amanda Cagle and husband Matt, Cory Feldman and wife Jana, and Cody Feldman; and seven great-grandchildren, Liberty Davis, Alex, Cortney, and Kamron Cagle, and Cheli, Hunter, and Wyatt Feldman. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Melvin and LeRoy; brothers, Harold, Bob, Kenneth and Bill; and sisters, Frances and Roberta. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Mountain Time on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar, Colorado with Pastor Richard Fitzgerald officiating. Friends may call from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson.
