Ferrius Louis David Lamar Olson, 27, of Liberal passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Tulsa, OK.

He was born on March 3, 1993 to Norman Olson and Bridget (Livingston) Sowers at Liberal, KS.

Ferrius spent most of his childhood between Dodge City and Garden City, KS. He attended Liberal High School where he was a Redskin Singer, played in “That” Liberal Band, was active in the Drama Club, and played Football. He transferred to Satanta High School for his Senior year where he continued playing in the band and baseball. He graduated in the SHS class of 2011. Ferrius was an avid musician; he wrote and performed his own music under the stage names of “Nitro” and “El Chapo Chingon”. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Liberal, KS.

Ferrius is survived by his mother, Bridget Sowers of Liberal, KS, father, Norman Olson and wife Barb of Fayetteville, AR; three brothers, Roderick K Sowers, Jr. of Arkansas, Kester J Olson and Khicks Olson both of Fayetteville, AR; sister, Morgan O Pham of Liberal, KS; Stepsister, Jaecy Bradford of Overland Park, KS; four children, Natalia, Greyson, Ferrius, and King.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman Gomez, Rosalie Olson and George B. Livingston.

Viewing will be 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Friday, September 18, 2020, at Miller Mortuary in Liberal.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 19, 2020, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Liberal.

Burial will follow in the Liberal City Cemetery.
