Felipa Mencos

Felipa Mencos, age 99, died Sunday, February 25, 2018, at her home in Liberal, Kansas

She was born May 10, 1918 in Guatemala

the daughter of Felix and Rosa (Ambrosio) Mencos

She was a House Keeper and Baby sitter.

Felipa was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and was a cook with the ladies in the kitchen. She was very proud to be a grandmother great grandmother and a great-great grandmother.

Survivors include:
1 Son Victor and his wife Olga

1 Grandchild Rosa Arellano and her husband Gilberto

4 Great Grandchildren, Martha (Maximiliano) Ayalla, Gilberto Arellano, Victoria Arellano, Diego Arellano.

3 Great-Great Grandchildren, Felipa & Jordyn Zarate, Rosalina Ayalla.

Felipa was preceded in death by Her Parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters

Rosary will be Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 7:00 PM

Funeral Services Wednesday February 28, 2018 at10:00 AM Both at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun Ave. Liberal, KS 67901

Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Liberal

Reverend James P Dieker will celebrate the mass.
