Esther Jewel Parker, 80, of Beaver, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord Saturday September 18, 2021, at the Beaver County Nursing Home surrounded by her family after a short illness.

Esther was born January 26, 1941, in Hooker, Oklahoma, the daughter of John Benton and Mayme Ruth Highley Lollar. She was the 12th of 13 in her family. She attended the Hooker Public Schools until her eighth-grade year when she quit because her mother was fighting cancer.

Esther was married to Orville James Yocum and to this union they welcomed a daughter Carla. The marriage was short lived. Carla and her moved back to Hooker with her parents.

She met Otto “Corky” Parker when Carla was five and they fell in love and married on March 3, 1968 and lived in Beaver. They soon welcomed into the family two daughters, Valerie and Melissa.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Otto, six brothers, Wayne, Claude Earl, Jack, Johnny, Delbert, and Clayton; five sisters, June Woods, Erma Dixon, Alice Hayden, Marie Hix and Joy Hix.

Survivors include her daughters, Carla Morrison of Pocatello, Idaho, Valerie and Henry Davis of Beave, Oklahoma, Melissa and James McElhany of Branson, Missouri; one brother, Byron and Beth Lollar of Amarillo, Texas; seven grandchildren, Brittney and Cody Gardner, Edmond Morrison, Ashley and Nick Wilcox, Mathew Davis, Nathan and Adriana Davis, Kemberly Beer and Zachary Beer; nine great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Memorials are suggested for the family use and may be left at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Oklahoma 73945.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Beaver First Baptist Church in Beaver, Oklahoma with Rev. Jeff Bradley officiating. Interment will be in the Overton Cemetery directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Oklahoma.
