Enemencio C. Flores

Enemencio C. Flores, age 73, of Ulysses, Kansas, died Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas. He was born December 9, 1946, in Goliad, Texas, the son of Domingo and Eralia (Caballero) Flores.

Enemencio grew up in Texas. On December 20, 1965, he married Marta Garza in Freemont, Ohio. They moved to Ulysses in 1975. Enemencio worked for Border Line Well Service Inc. as a Rig Operator. He loved to watch WWE, western movies, playing the lottery, and attended Mercy Grace and Truth Ministries. Enemencio’s greatest joy was spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Enemencio is survived by his wife, Marta of the home; sons, Jimmy Flores of Ulysses, Eddy Flores of Ulysses, and Israel Flores and wife Kortney of Collinsville, Oklahoma; daughter, Idalia Franco and husband Marcus of Ulysses; six sisters, Lily, Aurora, Maria, Estella, Adela, and Angie; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Enemencio is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Guillermo and Enrique.

Graveside service will be Monday, August 24, 2020, at 10:00 AM at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses, Kansas, with Pastor Rafael Franco officiating. Services may also be viewed on Garnand Funeral Home Facebook Live. Visitation will be Saturday, August 22, 2020, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home, Ulysses, Kansas.
