Endercio (Andy) Perez, age 83, died Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his home in Ulysses. He was born March 17, 1940, in Beeville, Texas, the son of Maclovio and Juanita (Nino) Perez.

Endercio grew up in Texas but spent most of his adult life in Ulysses. He married Maria Paniagua in May of 1974 in El Paso, Texas. Endercio worked in the fields for many years. He enjoyed painting and fixing cars, playing the accordion, listening to music, and traveling. Spending time with friends and family was very important to him, and he enjoyed sharing his morning coffee with friends.

Endercio is survived by his wife, Maria of their home; children, Joe Hector Perez and wife, Rachel, of Beeville, Texas, Norma Saldana and husband, Noe, of Corpus Christi, Texas, Endercio Perez, Jr. and wife Noemi, Leticia Perez, Marisela Perez, Raul Perez and wife Michelle, and Elisabet Ponce and husband Felipi all of Ulysses; brothers, Desiderio Nino Perez of Beeville, Texas, Maclovio Perez of Austin, Texas, and Jose Perez of Dallas, Texas; sister, Maria Perez of Lubbock, Texas; 37 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Endercio is preceded in death by parents, Maclovio and Juanita Perez, three brothers, and two sisters.

Rosary will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 9:00 AM and Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM both at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses, Kansas, with Reverend Eric Gyamfi officiating. Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses. Memorial contributions may be given to Endercio Perez Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880. Condolences may be posted at www.garnandfuneralhomes.com.
