Emma Lou Sarchet, 76, of Georgetown, TX passed away July 19, 2015 at her home. Emma "Lou" Sarchet, age 76 of Georgetown, Texas passed away on July 19, 2015.
Lou was born October 29, 1938 in Platteville, Colorado to James and Mabel (Harper) Abbett. Lou married Jim Sarchet on March 24, 1957 in Platteville, Colorado. She worked as an in house Bank Auditor for the 1st National Bank in Hooker, Oklahoma until her retirement in 2001.
Lou was a member of Hooker Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School. She served as president of the Great Plains Bankers Association and a member of the Sun City Bridge Club.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Sarchet; daughters, Tammy Sarchet-Will and her husband, Randall, Kim Sarchet Nurnberger and her husband, Dave; son, Jeff Sarchet and his wife, Patricia; sister, Helen Nelson; brother/sister in laws, Bob and Deanne Sarchet, Mike and Linda Ryan; sister in law, Carol Sarchet.
She was preceded in death by son, Jason Sarchet; sisters, Berta Ottessen and Dorothy Dill; parents James and Mabel Abbett.
Memorials may be made to Cal Farley Boys Ranch or to charity of your choice and may be left at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Oklahoma 73945.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Hooker Cemetery with Rev. Craig S. Denslow officiating. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Friday July 24, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in Hooker. Arrangements conducted by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Oklahoma.
