Eleanor Jean Starks-Holder

Eleanor Jean Starks-Holder, 90, of Liberal, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Wheatridge Care Park.

She was born on August 2, 1933 to Ralph and Neva (Jordan) Morgan at Anthony, KS.

On November 20, 1970 she married Thomas Dean “TD” Starks; he preceded her in death in 2005.

She was a graduate of Anthony Kansas High School. Eleanor worked as a Crew Chief for Beech Aircraft in Liberal, KS. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, and all of her many dogs.
She was a life member of theVFW Auxiliary since 1994.

Eleanor is survived by three Sons, Kyle (Dene) Holder of Eufaula, OK, Dennis (Ramona) Holder of Maize, KS, Gene (Susan) Holder of Liberal, KS; Step Daughter, Karen (Johnny) Lawson of Springdale, AR; Sister, Vera (Harlan) Baker of Boise, ID; 18 Grandchildren including Grandsons, Kenton (Tracy) Holder, Kevin (DeLainy) Holder, Codye (Dara) Black, Corye (Kaylee) Black, Jason (Nina) Holder, Joshua (Jenna) Holder, Daulton Holder, Jonathan (Barbie) Hanna, Charlie (Danyele) Harper, Edward Yeadon; Granddaughters, Frankie (Gerardo) Cano, Meghan (Daniel) Marquez, Lisa (Jason) Lovelind, Mikkie Holder, Lisa (Don) Good, and Jamie Yeadon; 23 Great Grand Children and One Great Great Grandson.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Ralph and Neva Morgan; Husband, Thomas “TD” Starks; Daughter, Mickey Lynn Holder; Son, Billy Holder; Step Son, Steve Starks; Grandson, Tyson Holder; Sister, Geraldine Elmore.

There will be no viewing.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Forest Park Cemetery in Anthony, KS
