Edna June (Miller) Kinser, 101, Hugoton, Kansas, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home, in Hugoton.
The daughter of Marvin and Violet (Beasley) Miller, she was born March 6, 1921, in Stevens County, Kansas. She was a lifetime resident of Stevens County.
Edna and Leslie Otis Kinser were married on April 12, 1942, in Hugoton, Kansas. They were married for 68 years. To this union were two daughters, Connie and Patsy.
Edna was a member of the Bethel Friends Church of Hugoton.
She was a very good seamstress and she enjoyed word search puzzles.
Her survivors include two daughters, Connie Cox and husband John, Piedmont, OK., Patsy Johnson and husband Eugene, McPherson, KS.; one sister, Winfred Vore, Hugoton, KS.; four grandchildren, Kristine Wolfe, Troy Cox, Lisa Davis, Brian Johnson; eight great-grandchildren, Siobhan, Logan, Kara, Lindy, Emma, Jarin, Alexander and Caleb and other relatives and friends.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Violet Miller; husband, Leslie Kinser; and sister, Nellie Toole.
A memorial has been established for Gideons, in the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home, 314 S. Van Buren, Hugoton, Kansas.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Bethel Friends Church with Pastor Roy Bogan. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, Rural Stevens County, Kansas.
