Edith J. Asencio

Edith J. Asencio, 78, died Monday, January 5, 2015 at Southwest Medical Center. She has gone home to be with her heavenly father, whom she loved with her whole heart and soul.
She was born October 15, 1936 at Warsaw, IN, the daughter of Jesse and Lucille (Waggoner) Miller.
She married Dario Asencio in 1981 at Warsaw, Indiana. He survives.
Edith grew up in Warsaw, Indiana and worked with Kralis Brother Packing from 1970 – 1984, where she was a Supervisor. She and Dario moved to Liberal in 1984 where she went to work for National Beef Packing for 11 years retiring in 1995. Edith enjoyed crocheting, was an avid reader, loved puzzles, cooking and her family.
She is also survived by four daughters- Tina Skaggs and husband Charles of Liberal, KS, Rita Johnson of Liberal, KS, Wanda Penn and husband Jeff of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ellen Hoffer and husband Alan of Warsaw, IN; one son, James Marshall and wife Mary of Burket, IN; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 6 stepsons and 3 step daughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Friday January 9, 2015 at Miller Mortuary with viewing preceding the service from 8:00 am to service time.
