Ed Brown

Edgar "Ed" Brown, 80, died Sunday, February 20 , 2011 at
Southwest Medical Center, Liberal, KS .

He was born August 24, 1930 at Rosell, NM, the son of Jesse & Opal Moore Brown.

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U S Army.
Ed owned and operated the B & B Pest Control for over thirty years.

Ed enjoyed playing snooker and pool & dancing, a frequent visitor
to the Liberal Senior Citizen Center.

On January 15, 1971, he married Esther M. Schultz Springmeyer
at Perryton, TX , she survives.

In addition to his wife Esther; he is survived by one son, Karl Springmeyer
and Heather, Tyrone, OK; three daughters, Kim Painter and husband
Tommy, Buffalo, OK; Janet Mongold and husband Richard, Liberal, KS;
Vicki Austin and husband Steve, Liberal, KS; one brother,
Jesse Brown, Jr. and wife Agnes, Clovis, NM ; one sister,
Juanita Anderson, Las Animas, CO; eleven grandchildren,
fourteen great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Betty Hanna,
Beverly Schultz & Jody Salley all of Liberal, KS, Doris House, Tyrone, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and a son.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the
Miller Chapel with Rev. Rex Petty presiding.

Interment will be in the Floris Midway Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 1-8 P.M. Tuesday and
9 A.M. until service time Wednesday.
