Earl Branstetter

Earl Branstetter, 91, of Liberal, KS passed from this life Sunday evening March 12, 2023 at Pioneer Manor in Hugoton, KS.

The son of Roy and Eva (Austin) Branstetter, he was born January 9, 1932 in Stone County, Missouri.

As a young boy the family moved to southwest Kansas where he attended Rolla schools.

On October 3, 1954 Earl married the love of his life, Frances Davis of Greensburg, KS. Together they raised 4 children; Rodney, Keith, Donna and Timothy. While residing in Southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle, Earl worked at farming and ranching before his 35 year career with Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company.

Earl enjoyed serving God as Sunday School teacher, RA leader and as Deacon of the Baptist Church for 52 years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. Reunions were a favorite.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents, wife Frances, brothers; Bill, Troy and Coy, sisters; Deena, Irene, Maxine and Berniece.

Survivors include one brother Ernest Branstetter of Duncan, OK, sons Rod Branstetter (April) Hayden, CO, Keith Branstetter, Hayden, CO, Donna Fisher (David), Liberal, KS , and Timothy Branstetter, Denver, CO. Grandchildren are Emily Brown (Eric), Hooker, OK, Elise Sims (Tyler), Arlington, WY, Eric Fisher (Haley), Cheyenne, WY, Lauren Lyons (Jarad) Grand Junction, CO, Taylor Branstetter, Craig, Co, and Kyleigh Windle, Fort Collins, CO. Great Grandchildren Mya Brown, Rhett Brown, Charlee Sims, Jesslyn Sims, Teagan Fisher, Payton Fisher, Preston Lyons, Audrey Lyons and Scotlan Lyons.

The family will meet friends at the funeral home on Thursday March 16 fro 6 to 7 p.m.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12 noon Thursday until 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Turpin Baptist Church in Turpin, OK.
