Dortha Rene King, 52, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at St. Francis Via Christi hospital in Wichita, KS

She was born August 9, 1962 at Pine Bluff, AR, the daughter of Wallace Casey and Lucinda (Montgomery) Rich.

She married Arthur King Sr. in April 1986 at Liberal, KS. He survives

Rene moved to Liberal with her family when she was five and was a graduate of Liberal High School.

She worked in the medical field for 30+ years, primarily in home health care. Rene enjoyed attending church, helping others in need, playing bingo, music, and most of all her family and children. She was a member of All Nations Pentecostal Church.

Her other survivors include son- Arthur Ray King, Jr and daughter -Serena Machea King both of Arlington, TX; granddaughter- Abrianna Rene King of Liberal, KS; Three Grandsons- Madden Malik King of Tyrone, OK, Jermiah Elijah Lockhart of Arlington, TX, Josiah Isaiah Lockhart of Arlington, TX. Three sisters- Martha Stocks and husband Jackie Ray of Liberal, KS; Annette Montgomery of Liberal, KS; Lisa Johnson of Arlington, TX. a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and daughter-Sabrina King.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Saturday March 14, 2015 at All Nations Pentecostal Church with Pastor Jimmy Holman officiating. Viewing will be before the service from 8:30 to service time.

The family suggests memorials to the Rene King Memorial Fund in care of Miller Mortuary.
