Dorothy Delilah Franz, 92, of Turpin, OK, passed away on Friday April 13, 2018 at theWheatridge Care Park in Liberal, KS.

She was born on May 18, 1925 to Jack and Regina (Nicholai) Weygandt at Geary, OK..

On June 4, 1950 she married Howard lee Franz at Perryton, TX; he preceded her in death in 2006.

Dorothy and her husband farmed in Beaver County, OK for many years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening and quilting.

Dorothy is survived by her Daughter – Diane Schaffer and husband Joe of Centennial, CO; Two Grandchildren – Jason Franz of Dallas, TX and Tammy Franz of Russell, KS; Sister In Law – Marlene Keating of Liberal, KS; .

She was also preceded in death by her parents and her son – Steve Franz

As requested by the family there will not be a public viewing.

Graveside Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Restlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Stan Lehnert officiating.
