Donna S. Correll, age 78, passed away early Saturday morning, January 2, 2021, at Good Samaritan Society, Liberal, Kansas.
She was born September 17, 1942, at Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Ernest and Viola (Moore) Boyd. As a young girl, she attended school in Plains, Kansas, graduating from Plains High School in 1960. On June 18, 1960, she married Harold L. Correll at the Plains United Methodist Church. After their marriage, the couple made their home in Plains. She was a homemaker and a secretary.
She enjoyed reading, sewing, crafts, going to casinos, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Betty Jo Lee of Kansas City, Missouri, Tracy Ann Archuleta and husband Freddie of Liberal, Kansas, Rick Allen Correll and wife Paula of Prosper, Texas, and Sherry Sue Sutherland and husband Scott of Plains, Kansas; a sister, Connie Stamolis of California; nine grandchildren, Ashley, Brenna, Ross, Cody, Jaycee, Chelsea, Cooper, Caylee, and Shelby; six great-grandchildren, Kaiser, Kincaid, Koehn, Sophia, Harper, and Annette.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold on January 3, 2015; her parents; a granddaughter, Candace; a brother Stanley; and an infant brother.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will follow in the Plains Cemetery, Plains, Kansas.
