Donna Lee Beauchamp

Donna Lee Beauchamp, age 77, of Ulysses, Kansas died Friday, July 31, 2015 at The Legacy at Park View in Ulysses, Kansas. She was born September 9, 1937 in Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of Thomas Edward and Marie (Rogers) Hardin.

Donna lived in Colorado until the sixth grade, and then moved to Kansas. Her family moved to Syracuse, where she attended high school. Donna married Gail Lutz and they had two daughters. She married Arthur Rich in 1962. After Art’s death, she married Hayward Beauchamp in 1982. Donna managed the Pizza Hut in Meade and Ulysses, winning awards at both places. She also worked at AmPride convenience stores in Ulysses and Johnson. She was a past member of Grant County Chamber of Commerce, Grant County Ambassadors, Crime Stoppers, and served on the Spring Fling Committee for several years. Donna enjoyed her dachshunds and flowers.

She is survived by her daughters, LaDonna Gee and husband Leslie of Gardner, Kansas, and Debra Norris and husband Robert of Wichita Falls, Texas; five grandchildren, Travis Gee, Trever Gee, Kristen Wells, Jerrad Gindlesberger, and Matthew Woods; and one great-grandson, Linkyn Woods.

Donna is preceded in death by her mother, and husbands.

Private inurnment will be at a later date at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to The Legacy at Park View in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880.
