Donna Dee Wilson, 87, of Liberal, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal .
She was born on December 27, 1933 to Emril and Thelma (Ford) Johnson at Woodward, OK.
On December 6, 1953 she married Billy Lynn Wilson at the First United Methodist Church in Mooreland, OK.; he preceded her in death on December 2, 2008.
Donna was raised in Mooreland, OK and was a graduate of Mooreland High School. She then went on to graduate from the Enid Business College with a degree in Accounting.
She along with her husband Bill owned and operated El Kan Drug, Inc in Liberal from 1968 to 2009. She was a lifetime member of the Queen Esther Chapter of the Order the Eastern Star and an avid member and supporter of the FFA. Donna thoroughly loved children, dogs, cows, flowers, reading, cooking, and Bible Study. She loved her family and her El Kan Drug Family. She and Bill were lifetime members of the First United Methodist Church of Mooreland, OK; they loved Mooreland, OK and Liberal, KS.
Donna is survived by her Daughter, Lynn Ann Wilson of Liberal, KS; Two Sons, Steven Lee Wilson and wife Mary of Hutchinson, KS, Mark Wayne Wilson of Pflugerville, TX; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Per Donna’s instructions, her casket will be closed.
An Outdoor Service will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021, 10:30 am at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with Jim Garcia, officiating.
In lieu of flowers per Donna’s request, friends are encouraged to consider making a memorial donation to the Kansas Children’s Service League Foundation or to Crossroads Therapeutic Riding Center of Liberal, KS in care of Miller Mortuary, PO Box 826 Liberal, KS 67905-0826.
