Donald Leon Imler, 64, of Liberal, passed away on Tuesday April 6, 2021 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born on July 7, 1956 to Wilbur and Oleta (Vaughan) Imler in Selma, AL.

On November 15, 1978 he married Sharen Hoock in Perryton, TX.

He was a graduate of Tyrone High School in Tyrone, OK; class of 1975.

Donald worked with National Carriers for 30 plus years before retiring in 2019. He enjoyed fishing, PC Gaming, Throwing Darts, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the NRA and AARP. Donald had an overwhelming generosity and would help anyone in need.

Donald is survived by his loving wife Sharen of Liberal, Two Sons, Shawn Imler and wife Melinda of Liberal, KS, Jaime Imler of Liberal, KS; Mother Oleta McKay of Panhandle, TX; Eight Grandchildren, Marcas Imler, Jewelie Imler, Miles Pearce, Ryan Pearce, Ashley Pearce, David Cartright, Ivory Nguyen, and Ianna Nguyen; Three Sisters, Theresa Weaver of Boise City, OK, Keri Harris of Stratford, TX, Cori Rodriguez of Panhandle, TX; Two Step Brothers, David Sheldon of Liberal, KS, Ben Sheldon of Seguin, TX;

He was preceded in death by Father, Wilbur Ernest Imler, Stepmother, Janet Imler, Step Brother, Doug Sheldon, Step Sister, Lavenda Bruhn.

Viewing will be 1:00 pm – 5:00 Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Miller Mortuary Chapel in Liberal, Kansas with a Family Celebration of Life at 3:00 pm. The Family Celebration of Life will be Live Streamed on the Miller Mortuary Facebook page.
